Our technologies
Our technologies ensure full end-to-end encryption for each connection, hosting within the client’s local network without Internet access, and incoming traffic filtering. We also use three-level access authentication for meetings, user authorization via domain, and IPsec between system components. Additionally, we offer the generation of individual SMS PINs to enhance security for meeting participants.

Cloud Video Interoperability
One of the key advantages of Pexip Infinity is interoperability, the ability to connect various video conferencing platforms and devices into one unified system. Pexip enables seamless joining of meetings on Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business, Cisco Webex, Zoom, and other platforms, supporting SIP/H.323 devices, web browsers, mobile apps, and landline phones. The One Touch Join functionality simplifies the process of joining meetings from different platforms with a single click on Cisco and Poly endpoints.
Local Environment
Pexip Infinity enables video conferencing where all key data is processed locally within your company, ensuring security and control. Only the technical aspect related to communication standard adaptation takes place in the Microsoft Azure cloud, providing flexibility and integration with other platforms.

When using the CVI feature with Microsoft Azure as an IaaS service, the client retains full control over the process of communication standard conversion. This means that meeting data is processed within the European Economic Area, ensuring complete security and privacy, as no one outside the client has access to this information without their knowledge. This is a critical aspect, as it provides a higher level of protection compared to solutions offered by third-party providers.
Express Route
From the perspective of communication between our network and Microsoft Azure, Pexip Infinity supports ExpressRoute technology. This enables a connection to Microsoft Teams without using the public internet, providing enhanced security and stability for the transmission.

Sectors Affected by NIS-2
The NIS-2 Directive imposes on institutions from various sectors, including administration and energy, the obligation to protect against cyberattacks and implement appropriate procedures, under the threat of high penalties. Video conferencing systems, which are part of daily operations, must meet these requirements. Key areas include: risk analysis, which helps identify system vulnerabilities; ensuring end-to-end encryption, particularly for cloud-based solutions; and business continuity, meaning the preparation of contingency plans, such as using Pexip’s Business Continuity function in case of a Teams outage. Adapting UC systems to NIS-2 is key to security and compliance.

Risk Analysis
In accordance with the NIS-2 requirements, companies must implement procedures to protect against cyberattacks and respond to threats in order to avoid heavy penalties. It is essential to establish a risk analysis policy that identifies system vulnerabilities. Equally important is ensuring that sensitive meetings are automatically encrypted end-to-end, as this is not always standard in cloud-based solutions.
Business Continuity
System continuity is another key element that must be considered. Do we have a plan in case Microsoft Teams becomes unavailable?
This is where Pexip’s Business Continuity functionality comes in. In case of issues with Teams, the Pexip system automatically creates virtual meeting rooms, allowing meetings to continue seamlessly on the cloud platform without disruptions.
